What's included in the AI Insights add-on and how much is it?

AI Insights is a paid add-on that sits on top of the core ComplyBar plan. It uses AI to generate draft narratives and variance explanations for your close tasks — things like flux analysis commentary, reconciliation summaries, and period-over-period variance notes.

The key word is "draft." AI Insights generates suggestions for your review. It never completes tasks, changes statuses, signs off on reconciliations, or takes any action on its own. Every AI-generated narrative must be reviewed and approved by a human before it becomes part of your close documentation.

AI Insights is priced separately from the core $10/user plan because we don't want to bundle AI cost into the base price for teams that don't need it. The core platform — task management, period locking, evidence export, notifications, dashboards — is fully functional without it.
