Terms of Service

Terms governing your use of the ComplyBar platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service are between you and 30A Technologies, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as ComplyBar ("ComplyBar," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing and using the ComplyBar platform (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Subscription and Billing

ComplyBar offers the following subscription plans:

  • Core Plan: $10 per named user per month
  • View-Only Plan: $1 per view-only user per month

All customers receive a 90-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial period, we will charge your payment method on file for the selected plan. Billing occurs monthly on the anniversary of your trial start date or subscription date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months. If you cancel, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or attempt to derive its source code or underlying technology
  • Abuse the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to its systems or data
  • Share your login credentials with other individuals or use a single account for multiple people
  • Operate more than one organization account under your identity without prior written consent from ComplyBar
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, overload, or impair the Service's infrastructure

4. Intellectual Property

ComplyBar owns all intellectual property rights in the Service, including all software, code, design, graphics, and documentation. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights to the Service itself. You retain all intellectual property rights to data and content you upload to or create within the Service.

5. Customer Data

ComplyBar acts as a data processor on your behalf. We collect and process your data solely to deliver and improve the Service. You are the controller of your organization's data and retain all rights to it. We will not use your data for any purpose other than to provide the Service, except as required by law or with your explicit written consent. Our privacy practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplyBar's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to ComplyBar in the 12 months preceding the claim. ComplyBar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if ComplyBar has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by canceling your subscription through your account settings. ComplyBar may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if: (a) you fail to pay fees when due and do not cure within 30 days of notice; or (b) you violate the Acceptable Use section of these Terms and do not cure within 30 days of notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases, and we will delete your data according to our data retention policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA — the state in which 30A Technologies, LLC is organized — without regard to its conflicts of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Wyoming for any disputes.

9. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, you and ComplyBar agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may submit the matter to binding arbitration in Wyoming, administered in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees.

10. Changes to These Terms

ComplyBar may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide you with at least 30 days' written notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription during the notice period.
